My son had a snowboarding accident resulting in open fractures of both the ulna and radius on his right arm. The on-call VSON doctor met us in the ER. During the surgery, he took the time to call me on my cell and give me updates. Immediately after surgery, he handed me x-rays of my son's plated arm.
One month after the injury/surgery, my son is healing extremely well. He is already looking forward to snowboarding next year.
