The goal of providing ortho-specific care in an urgent care setting is to get you seen by an orthopaedic specialist quicker and treated quicker than you would at a traditional urgent care or ER.
We treat orthopaedic-specific injuries. We want you to avoid some of the usual stresses that come with a visit to the ER.

Will I save money when visiting VSON orthopaedic urgent care?
Urgent care visits are billed as an office visit. Therefore, you will usually save money with a visit to VSO ortho urgent care, versus visiting the ER.
What are some of the common conditions treated at Vail-Summit Orthopaedic Urgent Care?
Here are a list of common conditions that we diagnose and treat at our orthopaedic urgent care facility:
Acute pain such as sudden back pain without traumatic injury
Cuts and lacerations
Closed fractures or possible fractures
Sprains or strains
Minor dislocations (fingers and toes) (hip and shoulder dislocations should go to ER)
Cast or wound dressing problems
Painful, swollen or injured joints such as knees, elbows, and shoulders
Sports injuries: knee, foot and ankle injuries
What DON'T We Treat at Vail-Summit Orthopaedic Urgent Care?
At VSON Ortho Urgent Care, we do not treat nose/facial fractures, headaches, head injuries or concussions, chest/rib, animal bites, major joint dislocations, pain management patients, routine prescription refills or acute neck or back injuries associated with a fall or collision.
