About Heidi
Heidi is a valued member of Dr. Yu’s team, specializing in total joint arthroplasties of the hip and knee. You’ll find her both in clinic and in the operating room across Summit and Eagle Counties. In addition to joint replacement surgeries, she also assists in the operating room with orthopedic trauma cases.
Before becoming a PA, Heidi earned her bachelor’s degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She spent time as a member of the Breckenridge Ski Patrol before pursuing her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Vista University in Parker, CO.
A Breckenridge native, Heidi grew up mountain biking, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors. She joined VSON to continue caring for her hometown community, helping patients return to the activities that enhance their quality of life.
