Haley Zipperer, PA-C

Haley grew up in Plymouth, WI, and earned her undergraduate degree in Food Science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where she was a member of the Gophers women’s track and cross country teams. She then went on to earn her Master of Clinical Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Augsburg University and is board-certified through the NCCPA.

Haley began her career as a physician assistant in emergency medicine, completing a postgraduate emergency medicine training program through the Emergency Physicians Professional Association. She then spent two years working at the Methodist Hospital Emergency Department in Minnesota before relocating to Colorado with her husband. Upon moving, she joined the VSON team alongside Dr. Gnirke.

With a strong interest in orthopedics, Haley sought elective rotations in the specialty during her PA training and is thrilled to return to this rewarding field. She specializes in nonsurgical management of various musculoskeletal conditions and utilizes ultrasound-guided techniques for therapeutic treatments, including corticosteroid and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections.

Haley now lives in Breckenridge with her husband and their dog, embracing all that Colorado has to offer. An avid runner, she enjoys the occasional marathon, as well as mountain biking, Nordic skiing, and hiking.
